As of September 2006, the university only issues international student IDs. Please download the Application Form for Certification Documents (in triplicate) from the webpage of the Office of Academic Years (NDHU homepage\Administrative units\Office of Academic Affairs\Download Section\Form Downloads\ Application Form for Certification Documents) and proceed to the service counter of the Taiwan Business Bank on the first floor of the Administrative Building to pay the processing of 200NTD per ID. Then submit the filled out application form with a 2-inch color photo (students who enrolled in 2008/2009 or later are not required to attach a photo) to the person in charge at the Registration Section. Files are sent to a printing company in Taipei every Thursday and students will notified by phone to pick up their student IDs after 2 weeks.
Note: English names are entered online by newly admitted students during the enrollment process. If students can’t remember their English name, they can access it via the Student E-Resume System in the “Current Student” section from the NDHU homepage. The English name has to be identical to that indicated in the passport. Name change requests must be submitted to the Registration Section of the Office of Academic Affairs.
