According to the regulations specified in the NDHU academic rules, overseas students (foreign students, overseas Chinese students, and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Mainland China) are expelled if their GPAs fall below 2.0 for a total of three semesters and they fail 50 % of their selected credits. This regulation doesn’t apply to students who select 10 credits or less per semester or students with visual, hearing, or speech impairments or multiple disabilities (disability pass holders).
